Chemical Analytics, Inc. has been a full service hazardous waste disposal company servicing the midwest since 1986.  CAI specializes in the removal of waste laboratory and industrial chemicals, including unknowns and most compressed gas cylinders.  Materials are removed for beneficial reuse, recycle or disposal.

Chemical Analytics, Inc. assists its customers in waste minimization whenever possible.  Our vast redistribution network allows us to remove many unopened or usable laboratory and industrial chemicals as “usable products” rather than a waste.  This redistribution network directly reduces the amount of hazardous waste manifested by a generator

All Chemical Analytics’ field personnel are experienced, trained and safety conscious.  At a minimum, each member has successfully completed all the mandatory training requirements of OSHA, DOT and RCRA.  Included in this training is the 40 hour course mandated by OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.20 along with yearly 8 hour refreshers.  Additionally, each has completed 16 hours of training as required by DOT Standards HM-181 and HM-126F. 

Generators may submit an inventory for a firm quotation.  After approval, an experienced chemist and the required support personnel mobilize at the generator’s site.  Here, all containers are inspected and segregated.  Material suitable for beneficial reuse is identified and packaged.  All other material is then lab packed or consolidated into a matrix for fuel blending, chemical treatment or direct incineration.  Our personnel then label all packed containers per DOT and RCRA shipping requirements.  Chemical Analytics’ chemists then prepare all required manifests, hazardous waste profile sheets and supporting paperwork for the generator’s review and signature.  Upon completion of the operation all material is removed from the generator’s site by a licensed and insured vehicle from Chemical Analytics’ waste hauling fleet.
